You are an Elite member of AC. One of the select package options you would have chosen was to gain credit with ecredits or with status miles, if buying a flight pass.

If you selected the latter option, then you can buy a flight pass - and not have to fly at all, to pass the 35K status mile level!

If you did not choose that option - either you can hope you will get E without flying, or fly and pass the 35K threshold, to ensure that you do get Elite. Between Vancouver and one of Victoria or Seattle, you can fly one way, and use surface transportation (ferry for Victoria, perhaps the SEA-YVR shuttle bus) the other way. Make sure that if it is a Canadian flight, that you buy a tango plus fare (not a tango fare). With the transborder option, you only have a tango plus option as the cheapest option for the ticket.
