With my Priority Pass Membership as part of the AmeriPrise World Elite MasterCard the $27 fee is charged to the credit card and Ameriprise waives the guest fees. Its up to the Credit Card company to forward the charge to the client if its offered by the credit card.

If you have signed up to PriorityPass directly with them then you are obliged to pay the $27 fee in addition to your annual fee depending on what level you have.
