Far a variety of reasons, I spent Christmas in the hotel!
Very comfortable family room as described above. Execllent buffet breakfast, with hot options and eggs/pancakes prepared as requested.
Staff were great - helpful and friendly.
We had Christmas lunch there also, for about £49. Three courses, large glass of reasonable sparkling wine, coffee and mince pies. We booked our choice of food in advance. Staff worked hard and changed a course, offering in fact, without any issues. Food was 9/10 - turkey a little overcooked, roast potatoes a little pale, but only minor grumbles.
We were all very pleased.
