Question Priority Club online reservation - automatic "Special Request" for status holders

I have just made a reservation for a HI from the PC site while I was logged in with my Platinum profile. I had selected the cheapest flexible room (single bed standard room) and didn't specify anything else during the reservation process.

The reservation confirmation now shows "Room Type: 1 SINGLE BED STANDARD NONSMOKING" and down the line "Special Request: NON-SMOKING KING EXECUTIVE ". Does the online booking system automatically recognize Platinum status holders, performing a kind of "auto-upgrade" at the time of booking? I have never paid special attention to this when making my reservations, and I'm a bit surprised

Now that I'm thinking of it - Usually, I'm booking exec rooms (because they usually include breakfast and are cheaper than standard rooms with breakfast) and did enter that as a preference into my profile. Maybe I should select "Suite" instead if the booking system automatically suggests an upgrade to the preferred room type
