Actually, the rental companies have been pretty clear about one thing: they want all booking channels to show the same prices upon the initial search. They definitely don't want a travel agency automatically including a discount on the initial search such that the travel agency shows a lower price than the rental agency's own site, since that would drive business away from the rental company's website and to the travel agency, and the rental company then has to pay a commission to the travel agency.
Trust us, we know well about this restriction.
