No offense, but June Jacobs is definitely a step up from White Ginger. I agree that Peter Thomas Roth is nicer, but HHonors as a loyalty program is a joke compared to Gold Passport. If you status match to Hilton Diamond you will quickly realize that top tier at Hilton doesn't get you very much (especially at domestic properties). Also, who knows what Hyatt will roll out chainwide and to which brands. I think they are putting a lot of thought into this.
I just had my first status matched stay at Hilton after I discovered PTR. Got everything I was getting at Hyatt and more, free breakfast, internet, etc. I am not sure what you are talking about... I dont know -enough about the point system yet but the double dip looks pretty cool right out of the gate but earning ratio is about the same. Looking at 2011 Q4 promo, I'd say Hilton is better but this is not the forum to debate that
Anyways, yes June Jacobs is better than Portico White Ginger and PTR is still MUCH better than June Jacobs. I am one of those guys that would spend extra on personal care items and sorry to say J Jacobs still doesn't cut it for me... I think Hyatt should bring back H2O+. They had that sometime back and it was truly the best. Clearly, people care enough about it to make bath amenity the most weakest item of Hyatt.
