yes. sometimes there is.
a flight in jan/feb to bkk is 1100$.
and as GL/TL/TPL you can select flights with C seat and Y service. so you actually flying "biz" class for 1100$.
even if not a GL and you pay for the seat 250$ per sector, still you get "biz" class for 1600$. you can't top that...
well actually you can.. in the recent elal promotion for bonus tickets, you could have snagged a ticket to the far east for 840 points (gl/pl/tpl) + 300$.
