^ Exactly. I don't see why anybody should have to work on Christmas.

I had a flight on Christmas day, but they told me at the gate it was cancelled because the crew did not show up.

Then when I got home the power was out. I called and got a recording: nobody is working today but we will be back tomorrow.

It is extremely selfish to expect anybody to work on a holiday.
