Nowadays, with many people accessing Flyertalk from mobile devices where it happens much more easily that one accidentally clicks on something rather than intentionally, this issue has become more important, too.

(By the way, I must have accidentally clicked on something to unsubscribe from a forum and now it's gone and I cannot find it anymore... )
