I was on an ancient 757 (overhead monitors) this year where they started the safety video 3 times where it would play the Lincoln??? commercial first then puke halfway through Richard Anderson. The FAs finally did the safety announcement the old fashioned way.

I would love to be on a flight where the safety announcement was forgotten. Hell, I could do the safety briefing myself if it was necessary. I also wonder how much good it would do in an actual emergency situation.
