Good morning from Hong Kong, The Pier. Where there are no power sockets to charge your phone or laptop, where there is much better food than in the CCR, where you are served a drink in minutes, where the cabanas have a bath and a silent shower (but no TV). Hardware-wise it may be a win for the CCR but the staff here is so much nicer.

Now I may be influenced by my 22hrs in F on board the CX889 just now. What a wonderful flight with 2 great crews and meals that made my mouth water. That is F as it should be.

By the way: I am almost always nice and still I also sometimes get crappy service. What stuck with me are the times where I was not so nice because I was tired or stressed and an employee went out of their way to make me feel better. That is great service.
