Confirmed ticket but no seat assignments - am I screwed?
Booked an award ticket a month in advance for NY to SFO for early January in Business. The outbound flight has no seat assignments available, when I look online it shows all seats full, when I call they say "don't worry, maybe equipment changes, you have a confirmed ticket".
Anything I can do? I do not have status. I'm traveling in a fairly tight window, and most other airlines seemed unusually busy that morning too, no business class awards available.
