Quality was pretty good, the only other hotpot places I'd been to are the mass market Shabu-Shabu, or the high-end DingDingXiang. This is a good price point for the quality and environs. Tonnes of dip fixings for you to experiment. We sat next to the condiment island and one of my friends was enjoying all combinations of spices and sauces.

You paid US$130 pp or RMB130/pp? The latter is still steep imo, but manageable, the former is just way, way too expensive for hotpot! Glad that you had a nice meal, however.
