Don't they do this already?
They fly the 777 from SFO-Dubai. On the great circle mapper, it appears to go over the north pole already. Don't they do this already?

Also, what about Air New Zealand's route from Auckland to SFO? They sometimes fly the 777. Isn't that already over 5 hours?
