As for food, I've never been to a lounge where you could get a proper meal comparable to a restaurant.
The juice and coffee selection is fine, but the champagne (Duval Leroy) doesn't match up to EK's (Veuve). Onboard is a different story, as SQ serves Bollinger and EK serves Moet.
As for food, SQ had very limited options. EK has a full buffet breakfast. This does, again, come down somewhat to demographics, in that a large percentage of SQ's breakfast options are local/ Asian dishes, while EK serves up more international fare.
