To start there were 12 preboards. 7 in wheelchairs all the others walking on. There was also an OC housewife type with a little fluffy white thing I guess was a dog that she told the GA it was a companion dog. She also got to preboard.

We were late leaving because of all the preboards and a late arrival of two very old cantanctourous women who were complaining because they got there late, were not able to preboard and refused to check their luggage.

Finally off the ground and "Fluffy" sat on the seat the entire flight and not in a pet carrier. Also "Fluffy" has some GI issues and was quite flatulent the entire flight. OC Housewife thought it was cute and kept hand feeding this fur ball cheese and crackers.

The flight attendent thought he should have been on American Idol and wanted to sing Christmas Carols the entire flight.

We landed about 45 minutes late but somewhere over the approach to SNA the "Miracle of flight" occured. The flight attendent asked all those who came in a WC to wait while the others got off so we could get the required amount of chairs at the gate. That fell on deaf ears and these people shot up and moved like OJ in the old Hertz Rental car commercials.

Nightmare flight. that being said I have had a wonderful year with SWA and will continue my frequent weekly flights. It is just a shame the last one was such a disaster. what can you expect the Friday before Christmas.
To quote my favorite band, "nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile..."

If this was the worst out of 140 segments, I'd consider myself blessed. At least you weren't insulted by being served with bags of peanuts that were once sliding on the floor...

Merry Christmas!
