Had to 'downgrade' this year and are slumming it at the Sheraton (189 for deluxe oceanview about 20 feet from the shore). They actually have a swimmable beach and if you are willing to drive about 20-25 minutes to the west, salt pond beach is extremely kid friendly with almost no wave action due to some rock breakers just a bit off shore.
