There are no leisure longhaul destinations in C or F (eg Male, Mauritius, Cancun, Grand Cayman for almost the whole year, and by the time I pay for flights from another point to destination I want and pay taxes etc it is almost not worth it, hope something changes next year but am not too hopeful
A few days ago I was looking at MFU availability (to CW) for LHR-SYD and found, literally, nothing for Jan-Oct 2012. I would imagine/hope BA frees up some seats in the coming months. I find it hard to believe that all flights over the next 10 months already have reward bookings.
