I actually missed a bit out in the OP and it should have said Me & The future....., she's been told by the wedding shop that it won't fit in a normal cabin box and it will have to go in the hold.

I'm trying to see if there are alternatives.

She's going to speak to the dress shop again and find out how smaller box they can get it in and then we will have to take it from there.
