BOM is horrible to connect for anyone. Next time ask to be connected via DEL or MAA or HYD if this ever happens.
She's not the most frequent (or best of) flyers, so took what BA was offering her, rather than be stuck in Bangalore awaiting the next seat before Christmas. When we (as a group of 5) got involuntary rerouted from LIM in October, she was just keen on getting home, and leaving it to myself and another colleague to obtain optimal routings ...
