The fact that they killed the program with no notice is pretty regrettable. Since IHG doesn't have as many high end hotels as say Marriott or Hilton I stayed with them anyway because Hotels Anywhere was available. I know they still have the Amex card program, but realtistically you'd have to be stupid to redeem points for Amex lodging cards at the inflated values they are currently offered at (they were a good deal before they increase the prices last year.)
