Here's my recipe!!!
geo1004's pre-cook libation
- take one 16 oz pint glass
- add five med. ice cubes
- add one slice of lime
- add 5 oz. gin (Gordon's, Bombay, Beefeater, you decide)
- add 5 oz. tonic water
- stir (with swizzlestick leftover from last FC flight)
Then and only then, may you begin to cook!!!

Sounds like a kinda' "summery" drink, no?
Does this also do nicely in winter?
Sometimes I drink wine when I cook, and usually when I eat and especially LOTS of wine when I fly!
Somehow in airline clubs, I've sorta' switched to beer, often Sam Adams or Bass Ale, this last year or two, however!
Must be the influence of FT !
