The suggestion the WS join OW seems a little odd. Their cooperation with DL and Skyteam seems to indicate that they might join that alliance - which I could stomach as far as taking a WS flight to get to a TATL business class seat in Calgary or Toronto. Either way, I think that there is much ado about nothing here. AE is just getting in line with the rest of *A. If you don't like it, change. Easy solution. But expect that most will stay...
