Cabin crew service

I have been flying BA for many years, infact I only ever fly BA unless its to a non BA route. I have never had a bad experience with cabin crew until last week. Coming back from AMS in 1C we were served by the most miserable purser I have ever seen. She started by saying to the man in 1D "can you take your feet of of the wall please" (before takeoff he was relaxing with his feet up on the wall, and yes he had his shoes on, but her "severe auntie" tone of voice would not have been out of place if the Wicked Witch" in the Wizard of Oz had said it). She then asked us in a very abrupt voice "do you want a drink". The hard tone of her voice and the stern look would have frightened children had their been any in Club! The club trays were put down with force. We all have our off days but this was scary!

I love the typical, older and experienced BA cabin crew I am used who are proffesional and friendly and have been flying for years and thank god she is an exception. I have to say that on my recent flight to PHX a few weeks ago I was dreading the loss of the "heritage" crew but was pleasantly surprised, though most of them looked like they had just come straight out of high school. I had wonderful attentive service in F going out and the same coming back in J but if they still happen to be with BA in a few years I'm not sure they will all be so enthusiastic (I think the novelty of flying long haul at their salary might ware off), so I hope that BA keep their "heritage" crew where apart from this one off wicked witch of the west episode, they are all marvelous.
