If you are lucky, AF puts you up for the nite (and the hotel depends on your ST status). Or maybe they buy you a train ticket.
Of if you aren't lucky, you spend the night in the airport at CDG or on your own dime should you choose a hotel.

May have misunderstood the question -- it wasn't about missing the flight, but about customs at CDG, right?
