The beach is definitely narrower and steeper on the non beach casita side though the water is possible even clearer and color which is so beautiful that its hard to describe
I used one of the provided bikes to literally ride on the beach around the island a couple times. It becomes difficult in dry sand. Well, wet sand too. Let's just say it wasn't easy.
The vistas on the north (?) tip away from the harbor are beautiful. Had a champagne sunrise breakfast there which is a memory I will never, ever forget. The water is truly unbelievable. I'm sad to hear it's actually better or on par with the Maldives as I was expecting even better (although unclear how that would be possible) when I venture there some day soon.
This is an exquisite resort with unparalleled beauty - highly recommended.
