Not especially -- in Scotland, the only time we queued was when TESCO made a mistake with multibuys of cases of beer (3 cases for £8 IIRC last year), but now the fascist SNP loonies (aka the ruling Scottish government) have removed alccohol multibuys from our shelves, so if we want to enjoy some queueing we simply cross the border and join a queue in Carlisle (and bring some sheep etc. with us on the way back
