If renting a car is an acceptable form of commuting then I'd vote for SNA as an easy to navigate airport. It's just steps from the main terminal building to the car rental stations in the central garage, and once you're behind the wheel it's less than 5 minutes until you're on Southern California's (in)famous superhighway network with easy access to any of the business hubs in Orange County.
