It might be the design of the seats versus the actually inches, but the leg room on the 1x2 ex-US E190's is generous but not remarkable in my book (how are those for precise adjectives??) The perceived leg room in Stretch is better on the 2x2 planes IMHO.

The design of seats is tough to factor in, and it hurts the usefulness of sites like seatguru, unfortunately. A difference of 2 or perhaps even 3 inches in pitch could be offset by differing design, or likewise two seats with identical pitch could have notably different legroom.
