Red-eyes at DTW have always been hit-and-miss. There used to be about 6-7 every morning, and if you landed and didn't see lights in the air behind you... that meant all the flights had landed, you were last in line, and the crew(s) unloading luggage would be getting to you last.
Which, ironically, the last flight I took into DTW on a red-eye had the baggage on the carousel within 15min, and our F/Priority bags were (
literally) the first on the belt.
