Waited 50 minutes for my bag at DTW - Should I complain/Ask for SkyPesos?
Was flying DCA-DTW this evening. We arrived at the gate (not touched down) in DTW at 8:55. I did not get my bag from off the carousel until 9:44, about 50 minutes later. The main set of monitors indicated the same carousel for the entire 50 minutes, but there was no information at our assigned carousel, the digital sign was blank. Most of the people from the flight went to the lost bag room after about 30 minutes of waiting. We got no information and just stood around waiting for someone to figure it out. Then all of a sudden someone yelled out that our bags were in. The flight itself was only 90 minutes. We waited more than half the length of the flight for the bags. I realize things happen, and things get backed up. But, would you think this merits a complaint that might get me some skypesos? Or is that a waste of my time/am i being cranky?
