Once you've started searching for an award ticket, clicking the "Start over" button takes you back to the Award Reservations page and not the standard booking page. All you need to do to get back to the standard booking page is to hover over "Planning Tools" at the top of the page and choose "Book a Flight". You don't need to sign out.
