Folks - apologies for opening up an old thread, but I have this one question: do they already have AVOD installed in C (aka 'old First') on flights to/from CPH/ARN? I guess the answer is 'NO', but would like to double check.
BTW... I managed to book a redemption ticket in Business (I-class) to/from CPH for the first time... sounds good - older version of F seat for C-class 'price'.
Answer is no. It is the old school PTV in the armrest. Not worth much so I suggest that you bring a good book and/or a laptop. Power available in the armrest. Or even better: Just sit back and enjoy the special roomy feeling of the 747-nose. It is a classic ride even though the product is a bit outdated. In a few years this will be all gone unless you pay for F as these 7442 birds will be refurbished with new F and C meaning that they will be deployed on other routes than CPH and ARN.
I also managed to secure a C-award with TG on CPH-BKK-HAN r/t using SK points. This used to be totally impossible in the past but apparently TG has started releasing a few premium award seats on each departure. Maybe the competition from QR and EK is hurting TG a bit.
