Thanks for the advice and the words of caution on EK22, exactly the sort of thing I was worrying about. After 12 months of BHX two-three times a month MAN () will make a change.

Just looking at the website it seems the best timings mean I can do A380 all the way, so I may go that route. The 'standard' fares look great so I may flick one of my planned LX flights to HKG for a First for about £4.5k, just to see what all the fuss is about.....
