As MSPDeltaDude said, you're not really going to find much in the way of cheaper options to Tahiti. The cheapest Tahiti award I know of is using KE miles on HA for 60k miles RT. That won't help if all you have is AA miles though because transferring miles between airline programs is always going to incur a huge loss in mileage balance.
