Be warned, I know firsthand of someone who applied for this card, was approved, and when calling to confirm registration details was told their offer is only for 25,000 MR points. They are still in the process of resolving this now.
I highly recommend screenshots or simply having a pre-existing Amex Plat holder do the referral bonus since the referral e-mail clearly states 50,000 points (although for $3000 min spend vs $1000 on this deal).
Same thing happened to me. I applied using the 50,000 link, hit my $1,000 spend, the next day statement closes, the last charge on my previous billing statement is the $450 AF, and end up getting credited with only 25,000 points. Immediately sent a message to MR, they said they'll open a ticket and investigate and I'll hear a response within 10 days or so.
