She is not a "miles runner" like I am. I looked up her Qantas info online and actually she took a flight in 2011 from SCL-PER-SCL on Qantas. I will call them, and if the trip she just did in Nov SCL-LAX-PER will count towards last years status that jsut expired, that might get her over the hump on QA elite status. They have some rule about 4 flight legs on qantas metal in a certain period so will inquire about that.
