Yes B class makes a big difference.full economy miles.
So SCL-LAX-SYD-PER on QF and LAN just SCL-LAX would be 15098 miles.Crediting to either AA or QF would earn that amount of miles but 19862 EQP on AA and 200 SCs on QF-not enough for status on either.
You said going was a combination so assuming SCL-DFW-LAX-SYD-PER with the DFW-LAX on AA would be 15633 miles with 21014 EQP or 240 SCs-again not enough for status in either but within striking distance.
Personally seeing she is in SCL now and because of AAs generally better burn rate I would go with Aadvantage.
