I checked into the Hotel Monday evening, no signs at the front desk, no signs in the room.
I leave the Hotel Tuesday morning, did not go to or near the front desk. Tuesday evening I return to the Hotel and there is no power. Front Desk plastered with signs about a scheduled power outage from 9pm to 5am due to street constructions.
I complain that there was notice when I checked in. When checking in the FD Staff even asked "is this for three nights" and never said anything about the power outage.
I'm given a small $2 type flashlight and escorted to the freight elevator that is running on their emergency generator and escorted to my room. There I find a note on the bed about the power outage.
The room is warm but not unbearable (yet 10p) and I go to sleep. Luckily the power game back early about 3am just as the room was getting stuffy.
When I complained arriving during the power outage their constant reply was the sign was up on the front desk. They could not understand that on Monday there was no sign and when I was confirming a three day stay they should have told me about the power outage.
