On the other hand, you could do the same with a 320€ ticket in cheapo-Y - treatment/cash reception shouldn't be any worse

While all passengers are recieving EC261/2004 'duty of care' (i.e. hotel, meals, phone calls etc) I doubt any passengers recieve the denied boarding/cancellation compensation. It's clearly not a commercial decision to delay the flight so I am sure LH would argue it was beyond their control - you would have to take LH to court and hope to get a sympathetic judge.
