Hello everyone. I registered to this forum today. I am overwhelmed by the amount of information in here so I thought I can post a new topic so the experienced guys in here can provide some personalized help.

I have a Continental onepass account with 20000 miles on it because I fly once a year to Athens Greece from Newark NJ. Continental used to have a direct flight to Athens but since September it's discontinued, and will probably be a seasonal May-September flight for 2012. I want to go to Greece next month and I have to fly through Germany with Lufthansa or through Switzerland with Swissair or a combination of both. I wanted to ask if I the Lufthansa miles will get credited to my Onepass account if I add the account information when booking the flight..

Then to my next question! I start a new job with a top consulting firm in February and from what I understand eventually I will have to do a lot of traveling within the US. I wanted to ask if I should start collecting miles with another airline or should I continue with Continental? How does the United-Continental frequent flyers program merger affect me? Will they continue to co-exist?
