Thanks. I think I understand it now about The belt. It makes sense.

Both bags are under the 190x75x65cm so should be fine. But I'm a bit worried about how even then I could be told to go cargo?

I did call and was told as long as they're not overweight they will be fine but given the trip will be organised around taking this kit I want to make sure.
