1 hour between flights on 2 separate tickets is a no go... If your flight is delayed by even 20 minutes, you have to buy a completely new...

As for luggage interlining, it is technically possible. Whether the checkin agent will agree to do it/whether it is permitted by company policy is a different question which I'm not too sure the answer of.
