I am traveling from YVR-LGA tomorrow on United and I just turned AC*E for 2012 from non-status. I checked in online and the system still wanted to charge me for baggage, so I checked off that I will pay at the check-in desk. My question does Elite status kick in as of a few days ago when I saw my Aeroplan account change to AC*E and will I get complimentary 3 bags on United? Thanks in advance!
