So that should put you near the stairs, a restroom (only one upstairs), and the coffee/juice/water station. Expect a fair amount of pax traffic. The doors do tend to slide open on their own if not latched.

Don't be surprised if your actual room assignment changes when you board. I was just on the CZ out of SLC the other night and our assigned room changed twice from the time we checked in with the station staff and boarded the train. Our roomette was just vacated at SLC and the attendant hadn't had time to make up the room.

The rocking and noise from the train was a bit uncomfortable at first, but you might get use to it quickly. We boarded at about midnight and I was surprised I slept through the next two stops. I did wake in time for breakfast. Fortunately (?) there were no announcements in the car, but did wake in time to grab breakfast before they shut down to prepare for lunch.
