As a follow up to this post:

At IAH, I was only allowed to bring in myself and a guest to the united lounge. I am pres Plat Aka star gold. Fortunately, I was able to use the two one day certificates I had from chase Onepass credit card for the kiddos and we were able to use the lounge.

At Frankfurt, I was given the same script. Me and wife could enter as star gold. Could not enter the lounge

Registering the kids as"child" was a great suggestion. Thank you. They got some kid friendly food and some coloring pages, which was good.

IAH to FRA flight was on a old plane, did not even have personal in flight entertainment system. Was a painful flight. FRA to DEL was on a newer plane with personal TVs and more legroom.
