Hi,

Like stifle's stay , my stay ( 9th December) was good. My room (303 on the top floor)had a bottle of water, 187ml bottle of wine, a mars bar as well as a bathrobe and slippers.

The a/c is pretty good.


The bed was good ( I remember going to bed around 145am after my christmas party at the Royal Highland centre and the next thing I knew was the alarm going off at 845am)

Normal checkout time is noon

The breakfast coupon was valid for the continental breakfast with an upgrade to the full breakfast ( including the hot dishes) for £4 ( c. US$6.4 at current exchange rates) but this was not added to my bill.

The bar does sell Costa Coffee also.

The fitness center and swimming pool ( with steam room and sauna but no jacuzzi) are very good.

The Airlink bus to Edinburgh City Centre ( via the zoo which now has the two pandas) is now £6 return and the bus stop is just outside the hotel
