I have been considering having some fun with the DYKWIAs. I started the year as an FO (down year last year), and am now DM. Which means I have valid tags for FO, GM, PM and DM for the year.
I've never attached my tags to my bag (bit DYKWIA-ish, although I discovered this last weekend that DM tags score you HOOU coupons from the RCs when you miss the UG -- mine were not on, so he didn't believe me until I showed him my BP at which point he said something along the lines of "there's a reason we give you those noisy tags"... but I digress)... so maybe I should start rotating them and have some fun.
Maybe display the FO one when I am last to board so the DYKWIAs in the first rows of Y (most of my flights are 757s) think I scored a UG at their expense.
Anyone else done this? Any other good suggestions? It's the holiday season; always good to have fun.
PUT your DM tags on. Its all the fun you could want. The reaction from many on this forum is worth it. The bag tag envy you will generate will be awe inspiring. Let them jangle loud and proud.
I didn't put mine on for some time as a safety precaution but all of the IWIWYs who were bashing the tags caused me to remove my safe plastic Charter Diamond tag and replace it with the lethal metal one.
