Actually found the best benefit for being a Diamond and it was on my last trip. I was walking through ATL and must have set off the proximity alarm at the nearby AMEX table as the guy walks in front of me and says, "Excuse me, sir, can I talk to you about our offers for you today?" Before I could get my excuse out of my mouth, he sees my DM tag hanging from bag and says, "Oh, you are a Diamond so you are all set. Have a nice flight."
So, to avoid the credit card sales drives next trip, I think I will pin that tag on my shirt.
