When posting in an official capacity, a TB member or a moderator can put that fact into his post (as many already do). When posting as an ordinary member, it serves no purpose other than to give the poster an ego-boost, which is not something that many need.
I think you can apply to the Community Director to have your Evangelist title removed.
I for one would like to keep some titles, most notably 'Company Representative'.
